Bradford James Jackson is a versatile creative professional with experience as a writer, producer, actor, and director. His passion for storytelling began with short films and skits, evolving into a career in filmmaking. Bradford developed his skills in local church plays and Renaissance Fairs and furthered his acting education with Meisner and Stanislavski techniques, along with stage combat and dance for musical theater.
He directed the Scottish short film "Come Back Home," which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival in 2014, and starred in "Proper Binge," earning Best Actor at the 2018 Beverly Hills Film Festival. His Viking epic "ORK" won Best Cinematography at the 2022 Mammoth Film Festival, and his recent film "BOTCH" received Best Comedic Short and Best Costume Design at the 2024 Newark Independent Film Festival.
Bradford serves as the creative director of Bradford Jackson Films, LLC, and co-runs the non-profit 'FILM RANT' with Carl Weber, promoting Alaskan filmmaking. He is also contracted as a Media Communication Specialist for the Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies. Bradford continues to create some of the most cinematic films in Alaska, showcasing his dedication to storytelling and excellence in film.
