Students use this class to learn Hoonah Tlingit formline design basics so they can continue in the local traditions of creating and caring on family crests and the local heritage in wood carving and painting for regalia making. This connects kids to their local culture and the history of this place and allows them to preserve the traditions of the Hoonah Tlingit moving forward.
